Perhaps nowhere in the higher education world is competition for visibility more fierce than between those bidding to define the “new technology university.” The Georgia Institute of Technology is a strong contender on many dimensions, but its integrated marketing and communications objectives were challenged by the extreme decentralization and culture of entrepreneurship on campus.  Georgia Tech engaged Lipman Hearne to conduct a communications assessment and identify ways to enhance and integrate its institutional communications program.
