Like all flagship public universities, the University of Iowa has a defined leadership role in the state and an implicit positioning---everyone knows "what it is." But the University wanted to make sure that state citizens and higher education audiences clearly understood what it does and the value it embodies. The University's strategic plan sounded a call for Iowa to integrate communications throughout the University. Lipman Hearne partnered with the University to conduct a comprehensive audit of institutional communications and identify ways to enhance Iowa's communications program.
