A name change in Miami's athletics program prompted the University to examine its broader institutional image. Miami wanted to use this occasion to solidify its reputation for high-quality academics and to consolidate the disparate graphic identities of its several schools and campuses. The University retained Lipman Hearne to create a new identity program for all university communications.
