An $87 billion infusion of funding has just one more hurdle before it begins to change the way millions of children learn academic and social skills, thanks to the First Five Years Fund, a Lipman Hearne client.

Targeted article placements, op-ed pieces, and letters to the editor—coupled with national coverage on NPR for Nobel Prize-winning economist and First Five Years Fund spokesman Dr. James Heckman—generated the bipartisan support needed for the U.S. House of Representatives to pass the Student Aid and Fiscal Responsibility Act.

Media outreach will continue as the bill makes its way to the Senate.
