Actuarial science is a career choice that isn’t typically at the top of the average high school student’s list. The Society of Actuaries (SOA), the leading professional organization for actuaries in the U.S., sought to explain what actuaries do, change misperceptions about the profession, and attract mathematically talented young people to field.
The website redesign tells the story of actuarial science in compelling terms that pique interest: Actuaries are the risk experts of business; the analytical heroes of finance, insurance, shipping, and the legal system. Colorful, kinetic content, pleasing visuals, and math problems everywhere engage visitors in the idea of reaching for a highly compensated profession that few can do. Our work included strategy, information architecture, creative concepting, content, design, and HTML development.
