The International Association of Business Communicators’ (IABC) DC/Metro chapter announced winners of the 2011 Silver Inkwell Awards this week and Lipman Hearne is proud to have been honored with an Award for Excellence for our work on behalf of Lumina Foundation. The competition celebrates excellence and leadership in the field of business communication and Lipman Hearne was recognized for securing and writing a series of commentaries on PBS’ Nightly Business Report featuring Jamie Merisotis, CEO and President of Lumina Foundation. A long term partner of Lipman Hearne, Lumina Foundation is devoted to helping people achieve their potential by expanding access to and success in education beyond high school.
Congratulations to Lumina Foundation as well as to Adam Shapiro, Megan Cotten, and the entire Lipman Hearne Public Affairs team for receiving the Silver Inkwell Award for Excellence in addition to the earlier MarCom Gold award for Media Relations/Publicity.
