Aly joined the Business Development team after working as an assistant account executive with Lipman Hearne's Research and Consulting team. Aly's experience in a client-facing role provides essential insight for cultivating new business opportunities. In addition to her marketing and client development roles, Aly also coordinates, develops, and proofreads new business proposals and pitches.
Prior to joining Lipman Hearne, Aly was the public relations account executive of a student run advertising agency called Mojo Ad. She worked on a team to conduct research, create strategies, and develop integrated marketing campaigns for clients like HowStuffWorks.com and Purina Pro Plan.
She has had internships at several nonprofit organizations, including the Brain Injury Association of Minnesota, the Special Olympics Missouri, and Help the Aged, doing public relations, fundraising, and development work.
Aly received her bachelor’s degree in journalism from the University of Missouri, with an emphasis in strategic communication and minors in business and psychology. A native Minnesotan, Aly spent much of her childhood and high school years on the ice - she can skate circles around her peers at Lipman Hearne.
