After spending years as a poorly managed web designer, Phil decided to “Stop the madness!” and take hold of the reins. Moving into website project management, he took on a range of projects, from e-commerce to community portals for clients as varied as homeofficesolutions.com and Hurley Medical Center. Here at Lipman Hearne, Phil applies his dynamite combination of design savvy and project management know-how to large-scale, enterprise-class websites, as well as smaller higher ed projects.

Phil believes knowing your team members is key to balancing the demands of a given task with both your group’s strategy and a client's end goals. He leads with a broad understanding of a project’s natural progression and a detail-oriented and collaborative leadership style.

Before coming to Lipman Hearne, Phil worked at Duo, a fast-paced multidimensional firm specializing in large enterprise-class sites. His clients included the American Library Association, the Chicago Park District, and DePaul University. Phil has working knowledge of a half dozen content management systems, as well as a range of project control tools. He holds a B.S. in Marketing from the University of Illinois at Chicago.
