Colleen O’Grady has more than 15 years’ experience in the nonprofit sector, and her expertise focuses on philanthropic communications systems and strategy. She ensures Lipman Hearne’s clients benefit from insights about the evolving needs and behaviors of donors and would-be donors.
Colleen’s Lipman Hearne clients have included The Juilliard School, The Chicago Community Trust, the Smithsonian National Museum of African American History and Culture, Adler Planetarium & Astronomy Museum, the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, the Marine Biological Laboratory, Rush University Medical Center, Children’s Hospital Colorado, the Imagine No Malaria initiative of The United Methodist Church, the University of Minnesota, and the University of Miami.
Prior to joining Lipman Hearne in 2007, Colleen spent seven years as a nonprofit management consultant with a national firm, developing five-year strategic plans, annual and long-term philanthropic marketing plans, seven- to nine-figure gift proposals, campaign communication strategies, and cases for campaign support.
Colleen graduated magna cum laude with a B.A. in English from Oberlin College.
