Doug Dawson

Associate Vice President, Senior Digital Project Manager

As an associate vice president and senior digital project manager, Doug focuses on technology, systems, and process design. He maintains a firm belief, borne of experience, that online technology is full of constantly evolving opportunities. He believes in working with clients to establish the cornerstones of their digital strategy, and coordinating that effort across the account, creative, and development teams to ensure excellence in delivery of that message.

Doug works with several clients, including the Notre Dame Mendoza College of Business; the University of Miami; the University of Louisiana at Lafayette; the University of Detroit Mercy; and Elmhurst College. Doug also managed two projects for Lipman Hearne that won Education Digital Marketing Awards in 2013 including the Silver Award for Institutional Website for the University of Nebraska Omaha and the Merit Award for the University of Louisiana at Lafayette in the same category.

A background in science – Doug has a degree in biology and operated a mobile geochemistry analysis laboratory from 2001 to 2004 – helped him implement procedures to manage projects for a number of design and development firms. Two of the key processes that Doug has focused on have been discovery and QA. His clients have spanned industries, including higher education, scientific, and non-profit, among others – both in the Chicago area and national markets.

Doug holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Webster University. He won a St. Louis Addy Award for the Artex International marketing CD, which features digital video instructions of decorative napkin folding instructions that Doug still occasionally utilizes at dinner parties.
